This 1952 Allard K2 is said to be one of 79 left-hand-drive models produced and is powered by a 400ci Cadillac V8 paired with a LaSalle three-speed manual transmission. The car underwent a refurbishment completed in 1996 including a repaint in white with blue stripes and a retrim of the interior in black leather. The hand-formed aluminum body was stripped and repainted in white with blue stripes during the aforementioned refurbishment and features a hood scoop, leather hood straps, polished porthole vents, stone guards, dual fuel fillers, and split bumpers.
Body-color 16” steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps and beauty rings. 5.00”/5.50” Michelin Superconfort tires are mounted at all four corners. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes.
The cabin features low-back bucket seats trimmed in black leather and fitted with RJS Racing Equipment harnesses. The battery and a secondary fuel tank are mounted in the trunk.
