1953 Mercedes-Benz 300 Cabriolet D

This 1953 Mercedes-Benz 300 is one of 455 examples of the first-generation Cabriolet D variant manufactured between 1952 and 1954. A mechanical refurbishment included an overhaul of the 3.0-liter M186 inline-six as well as its twin Solex carburetors. Additional work during the project included a refresh of the chrome brightwork, reseals of the four-speed manual transmission and rear axle, and rebuilds of the cooling system, vacuum-assisted drum brakes, and electrical ancillaries. Finished in black over red leather.
