1956 Bentley S1 Continental Fastback Sports Saloon by Mulliner, one of approximately 119 built with design number 7400 aluminum two-door fastback coachwork. Right-hand drive, finished in black with aluminum bodywork and chrome bumpers with overriders. Features include front fog lamps, fender-mounted antenna, rear fins with vertical taillights, and 15” steel wheels with chrome covers. Powered by a 4.9L F-head inline-six with twin SU carburetors, mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Braking is handled by servo-assisted hydraulic drums, and the suspension includes independent front coil springs with lever-arm shocks and leaf-sprung rear axle with electrically adjustable lever-arm shocks. Electric power steering has been added. The interior is trimmed in gray leather with matching door panels, beige-and-gray carpeting, dual-grain wood accents, front bucket seats, rear bench, fold-down armrests, lap belts, door cubbies, lockable glovebox, and dual rear ashtrays.
