This 1964 Volkswagen Type 2 is a 21-window Deluxe model that was built on May 12, 1964. The bus later underwent a mechanical and cosmetic restoration. Work included a repaint in Mouse Gray and Pearl White, an interior refresh with Basalt Gray and Ivory vinyl upholstery, and the installation of a 2.0L air-cooled four-speed manual flat-pack gearbox. Equipment includes a 12-volt electrical system, painted steel wheels with chrome covers, front disc brakes, a sliding fabric roof, safari-style windshield panels, six hinged side windows, a trunk and an AM radio.
