This 1965 Volkswagen Type 2 Kombi 23-Window Conversion combines classic styling with modern usability. Finished in vibrant orange and white over a fully reupholstered white leather interior, this 23-window Kombi stands out with its striking color scheme, extensive glass area, and thoughtful upgrades. The van was completed as a full refurbishment, including a rebuilt four-speed manual transaxle, replacement 1,600cc flat-four engine with twin carburetors, and conversion to a 12-volt electrical system. Front drum brakes were upgraded to discs, and a custom air suspension system enhances ride quality and adjustability. Inside, the cabin is finished in white leather with embroidered VW logos on the seats, white seatbelts, a perforated headliner, analog clock, and a retractable ragtop sunroof. Eleven pop-out windows, double cargo doors on both sides, and a decorative surfboard complete the fun, surf-inspired look. A roof rack, chrome bumpers, and body-colored 15-inch steel wheels with chrome hubcaps round out the exterior details. This Type 2 offers the perfect blend of classic style, practicality, and modern enhancements.
