The 1966 Dodge Charger 383 presented here is a rare and beautifully restored example of early MOPAR performance engineering. Fully restored, this Charger is finished in Bright Red with all original chrome and stainless trim in excellent condition, complemented by factory spinner wheel covers. Its refreshed vinyl interior remains in outstanding condition, featuring a full set of factory gauges including tachometer, wood-grain steering wheel, center console with pistol-grip Hurst shifter, and a folding rear seat for added practicality. Under the hood sits the numbers-matching 383ci “B-Wedge” V8 rated at 325 horsepower, mated to Chrysler’s legendary A-833 4-speed manual transmission. The engine retains factory components, with the exception of an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and Holley 4-barrel carburetor replacing the original Carter carburetor. Manual steering and manual 4-wheel drum brakes are period correct, and all hoses, belts, battery, and exhaust have been recently serviced.
