A legendary British-American hybrid, this 1966 Sunbeam Tiger combines nimble British handling with the raw power of a Ford V8. Finished in striking white with a refurbished black hardtop and a new Robbins soft top, this Tiger delivers both style and performance. Under the hood sits a Ford Performance 302ci GT40-spec V8, featuring SVO aluminum heads, a B-303 camshaft, and a 600-cfm carburetor on an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold. Exhaust is routed through 1 5/8" headers and Flowmaster 40-series mufflers, and the car uses an MSD ignition module with upgraded cooling via a K-code water pump and aluminum radiator. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Ford HEH-E Toploader four-speed manual transmission and a Dana 44 Power-Lok limited-slip differential with 2.88:1 gearing. Handling upgrades include Dale’s Performance springs, urethane suspension bushings, Addco sway bar, adjustable traction bars, and a Panhard rod. Braking is via four-wheel discs, and new shocks were installed recently. Inside, the cockpit is reupholstered in black leather with new seat foam, carpets, and Simpson seat belts. A short-throw shifter and wood dash with Lecarra leather-wrapped steering wheel provide a driver-focused experience. An aftermarket coolant temperature gauge complements the stock instrumentation. This Tiger includes a refurbished hardtop, new soft top with bows, cover.
