1967 Aston Martin DB6 for Sale in Illinois

1967 Aston Martin DB6 Mark I Coupe – 5-Speed Manual. A stunning right-hand-drive Aston Martin DB6 Mark I finished in elegant Ice Blue over a dark blue leather interior. Power comes from the legendary 4.0-liter DOHC inline-six engine featuring triple SU carburetors and MSD electronic ignition, paired with a desirable five-speed manual transmission. The DB6 evolved from the iconic DB5 with a longer wheelbase, improved interior space, distinctive Kamm-tail rear styling, higher roofline, and refined grand touring capabilities. This example showcases the model’s timeless Touring-designed aluminum bodywork, highlighted by split chrome bumpers, faired headlights, a low-profile hood scoop, fender vents, and a driver-side mirror. The cabin features factory-style 2+2 seating upholstered in dark blue leather, matching door panels, color-coordinated carpeting, power windows, a lockable glovebox, Britax front shoulder belts, and a Motorola push-button radio. A Moto-Lita wood-rim steering wheel fronts classic Smiths instrumentation, including a 180-mph speedometer, 6,000-rpm tachometer, clock, and auxiliary gauges. Chrome 15-inch wire wheels with three-eared knock-offs are fitted with Vredestein Sprint Classic tires, while servo-assisted four-wheel disc brakes provide confident stopping power. The suspension consists of independent double wishbones up front and a solid rear axle with trailing links and Watt’s linkage.
