This 1967 Shelby GT500E Super Snake Convertible is a remarkable piece of automotive history, one of only 43 cars built. This beast is powered by an ALUMINUM FE Ford 427 Side-Oiler engine, upgraded with fuel injection and a Vortech supercharger. To further amp up its performance, it also comes with a 200hp NOS bottle that has never been used. The engine is mated to a Tremec TKO 5-speed manual transmission with a 12.5" Tilton hydraulic clutch for smooth, responsive shifting. For handling, the car features Unique Suspension Products front and rear coilover suspension, which ensures that this Super Snake delivers a ride as smooth as it is thrilling. The car is equipped with a Currie 9" rear end with a Trac-Locker and 3.25 gears, while stopping power comes courtesy of Baer 4-wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. The power rack and pinion steering adds precision handling to the already outstanding driving dynamics.
