This one-of-a-kind 1971 Triumph Spitfire Mk IV has been extensively modified and underwent a meticulous body-off refurbishment, resulting in a standout custom build that combines modern performance upgrades with classic British styling. Originally delivered in Laurel Green, it has since been repainted in a striking shade of green, and the car now boasts a number of unique features and enhancements. The bodywork restoration included significant metal repairs and replacements, such as new floor pans, rocker panels, sections of the firewall, and both quarter panels. A steel louvered hood was added, and the door handles were shaved for a sleeker appearance, while the windshield frame was shortened to accommodate a new curved laminated glass. The car is now equipped with a custom speedster-style windshield, and the cabin has been refreshed with luxurious tan leather upholstery and a custom burl walnut dash fabricated by CG Autowood. Under the hood, the original 1,296cc inline-four engine has been upgraded with performance parts, including a Weber carburetor, performance headers, and a solid-state ignition system. The engine is further enhanced by a fabricated air shroud, an electric fan, and an integrated oil cooler with braided stainless-steel lines. The car is also fitted with an oversized three-row radiator for optimal cooling. Power is delivered through a four-speed manual transmission to the rear wheels.
