This 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 442 Convertible represents one of the most desirable and limited-production muscle cars of its era, with only a small number produced featuring the 455 cubic inch V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Combining performance, rarity, and open-top driving, this example stands out as a true collector piece. Finished in its factory Cameo White, the car features classic 442 styling cues including a ram-air hood with chrome twist locks, gold accent striping, 442 badging, and a chrome rear bumper with integrated dual exhaust outlets. The power-operated convertible top complements the clean lines of the body, while the overall presentation highlights the timeless appeal of early 1970s American muscle. The car rides on Super Stock wheels fitted with Goodyear white-letter tires, with an additional set of Super Stock II wheels included. Power steering and power-assisted front disc brakes provide confident handling and drivability. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in saddle vinyl with Strato bucket seats and a matching rear bench, accented by woodgrain trim across the dashboard and console. Features include a Hurst shifter, power-adjustable driver’s seat, tilt steering column, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and door locks, and an AM/FM radio. The Rally-style instrument cluster includes a 120-mph speedometer and a 7,000-rpm tachometer. Under the hood, the 455ci Rocket V8 delivers strong, classic muscle car performance and is paired with a Muncie four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt Positraction rear axle, sending power smoothly to the rear wheels.
