This 1972 Triumph GT6 Mk III features a silver exterior over a red vinyl interior with matching door panels and carpets, accented by a black dashboard with burl wood fascia. The body was fully removed from the frame and refinished, including replacement floor pans and lower quarter panels, with chrome bumpers, dual side mirrors, and a chrome fuel filler cap completing the classic styling. Chrome 13-inch wire-spoke wheels with knock-off spinners are fitted with 185/70 Barum Brillantis 2 tires, and the suspension and brakes have been overhauled with replacement leaf springs, shocks, polyurethane bushings, calipers, discs, pads, lines, and hoses. The cabin features a wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel, a wood shift knob, lap belts, crank windows, aftermarket sound deadening, Triumph-branded floor mats, and an aftermarket stereo with rear speakers. Smiths instrumentation includes a 140-mph speedometer and 7,000-rpm tachometer. Under the hood, the 1,998cc inline-six engine has been overhauled with domed pistons, hardened valve seats, stainless steel valves, twin Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, electronic ignition, an oil cooler, aluminum radiator, high-torque gear reduction starter, shrouded air cleaners, and a stainless steel exhaust system with tube-style headers. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a replacement four-speed manual transmission with overdrive, featuring new clutch cylinders and Canley Classics CV axles.
