1978 Pontiac Trans Am WS6

1978 Pontiac Trans Am W72/WS6 in Martinique Blue with full restoration. The exterior retains original body panels, with new wheel flares, fiberglass front nose, and shaker hood. Finished in its original color, the paint was applied off the car, with perfect fitment and attention to detail. Accented by the T/A ‘Hood-Bird’, it rides on 15” Trans Am ‘Snowflake’ alloy wheels with BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires. The Z-code 6.6L (400ci) Pontiac V8 engine has been rebuilt with 0.030 overbore, 9.0:1 pistons, mild flat-tappet Comp Cam (.477/.480 lift), JET Performance-tuned Quadrajet carburetor, and stock distributor, producing an estimated 400bhp. Power is sent through a rebuilt TH350 automatic transmission with Corvette torque converter to a rebuilt 10-bolt posi-traction rear with Eaton 3.23:1 gears.
